Senior Account Handler/Broker required to join a highly respected, independent insurance brokerage, due to business growth. Privately owned insurance broker with excellent local brand and reputation.
Responsible for the delivery of service and retention of a portfolio of commercial insurance clients. Working with a range of trades including, Manufacturing, Retail, Property Owners, Contractor, Motor Trade and Farm
Supporting Directors and Account Executives with the renewals and administrative process.
Regularly speaking to clients in order to handle service issues or adjustments to their policies.
Broking new business into the market. Trading with insurers and building excellent relationships with underwriters
As the sales team are generating new business opportunities working on submissions to the market and obtaining quotes.
Typically working on business generating £10 – 50K GWP in size but with a small number much larger.
Working across all major classes of insurance but with particular emphasis on Property, EL/PL, Commercial Combined, PI, D&O, and Cyber
The successful candidate must be a good team player, professional in their approach and passionate about delivering a first-rate service for clients. A sound understanding of a range of commercial risks is also essential.
